Case Studies
Mission: Request for a Enhanced Care Team to support a large scale team, to prevent A&E admissions, reduce Ambulance handover delays and integrate with the existing team.
Deployment: Provision of a Enhanced Care team - Advanced Practitioner and Nurse team, offering A&E avoidance and additional skills to enhance the existing team.
Outcome: Single figure conveyance on annual basis with over 200,000 plus attendances to the event location, model now continues throughout multiple events. Integration of teams are seamless.
Mission: Request for a Critical Care provision at a drag race event, to offer life saving skills and advanced analgesia to drivers who have crashed.
Deployment: Provided a Critical Care Paramedic team, offered Level 6 skills, to the event.
Outcome: Vehicle dispatched by onsite medical team when support required. Singular incident - patient had full trauma assessment, given advanced analgesia, packaged and conveyed with escort to a major trauma centre, with provision remaining for the continuation of the event.
